(06/21/11) NEW SQUARE - The Hasidic man critically burned in a fiery religious dispute in Rockland has been released from the hospital.
Rottenberg's attorney says his client hasn't returned home to New Square but is staying in an undisclosed location in the area.
The Rottenberg family says they were targeted for months because they worshipped outside the main New Square synagogue. They believe the assault may have been orchestrated by that synagogue's Grand Rabbi, David Twersky. They claim Spitzer is a butler in the rabbi's home.
The Rottenbergs are suing Twersky and Spitzer for $18 million.
