United States Attorney for the Eastern District of New York Loretta Lynch, is doing her job prosecuting criminals. That does not make her a hero; it just proves her to be a good conscientious person doing her job. The unsung heroes in this instance are the activists who spent hundreds of hours collecting evidence and installing and monitoring surveillance cameras, appearing for court sessions, and mainly, supporting the victims and their families. However the villain in this case, is not only the pervert, Andrew Goodman, who according to neighbors and activists, molested numerous children, the real villain is Justice Martin P. Murphy who had the audacity to mete out such a ridiculous sentence of two years for such heinous crimes. Judge Murphy should be investigated, there must be more to this than meets the eye. Also D.A. Charles Hynes and his staff are claiming that they opposed and protested the sentence. It is very unlikely that a judge will make such a sweet deal without the prosecutor’s approval. So of course, presumably, if “People” asked for five or seven years, the judge reduced it to two, had the D.A. asked for ninety six, he would have given him at least thirty. I must say “nice of Hynes’ office for releasing the paperwork,” he could have told the Feds to conduct their own investigation. Thanks Charlie.
